My FH and his mom have a challenged relationship. I don't know how else to explain it, they love one another, but don't always see eye to eye on things. We have been trying to come up with song ideas.. anyone have any suggestions?

I have that with my dad, I was trying to think of a really sweet but VERY short song.
There is no real way around this problem other than making it short.
You can opt not to have that dance. There is nothing set in stone.... My FH mom doesnt want to have the dance because she will be hysterical... kind of the opposite but you dont have to have it
i thnk this is a good moment to understand and know each other better? this is a happiest day for all involved..not just bride/groom.
