I have heard (and been told by my own Dr), the same things, no soap, no sprays, no douche, no wipes, only WATER. Actually, as you shower, soapy water runs 'down there' anyway and does the trick. Some women even have problems with colored and scented TP.

As for the TACO thing.....

The first time I heard the term Taco was in the movie 'Me, Myself and Irene', when Jim Carey is harassing a lady in the checkout line. She's buying 'Vagi-Clean' and he says to her...'What's the matter? A little too much cheese on the taco?'

OK, who really digs around to clean the inside???? I always heard you shouldn't douche because it messes up the natural balance in there, and that you shouldn't really use soap at all down there before a gyno appointment, but I never really thought about using soap all up in there. I mean, are there women squirting their body wash up their coochies? And am I abnormal because I never considered washing anything other than the external areas?

ROTFLMAO I thought I was the only one thinking that!!!!!!!!!

Then FH just walked in and asked if we could have taco's for dinner - I spit my drink across the room

He is studying for finals and so he had NO idea about this thread - so I now think he thinks I'm crazy b/c he has NO idea why I spit my drink and are laughing like crazy at the computer

I just have to add something:

In Ireland and England they call the vagina a 'fanny'.

Here, most of us know, a fanny is your tushie.

I think I mentioned my dad's fanny mistake before here (he said to my irish *male* cousin one day to 'get up off his fanny' because we were going somewhere and needless to say my cousin nearly died of shock). FH said that when 'The Nanny' TV show started airing on TV in Ireland a few years ago, the theme song mentions how Fran was tossed out of her old job 'on her fanny' and he couldn't believe that US television would actually sing that in a song - didn't know that it meant 'tushie'. Hee.

Most soap is too harsh for my sensitive skin (w/Ivory being the worst!) so I always used Dove. I have recently tried Caress, (the Shimmering Bar) its very good too.

I've never had a weird Pap or unbalanced PH so I think I will continue to Caress my taco...
