I am not a daddy's little girl, I have a nice realtionship with my dad, but I am not a daddy's girl. Therefore, I feel like I might be judging Jessica Simpson's dad wrongly. Is there anyone out there who feel like her dad is the norm? thanks, spinoff from newlyweds board

I don't watch the show, but from reading the posts, I think her parents are WAY too involved in their life...they are married and need to fend for themselves!
ANd I consider myself a daddy's girl! But my dad stays out of my life until I ask for help

I'm not sure I've ever seen her act a Daddy's Girl really, it's more about him kissing up to her. I've never seen her hugging him or even paying any attention to him...I dont' think his behavior is normal for a person, let alone a dad!!!! He's just a weird, creepy man!
I'm a daddy's girl, but he doesn't smother at all.
