I am always paranoid b/c our bedroom is right below thier living room kitchen..and for us it's always during the day, so they're mainly right abovce is..and then this is the kicker. Fh's apartment door is in/near the bedroom and directly outside his door is their laundry room. So I have to worry about them coming down and being right outside the bedroom door.
We don't have a headboard though..so that's good

Re: SPinoff; Do you worry about waking the neighbors?
Yes, because we live in the same house. Our bedroom is right by their stairs, so I worry that they'd hear if they were going up or down the stairs. I get really paranoid
ETA: The main reason I worry is because they have two young girls and I certainly wouldn't want them hearing!

Yep - we've always had roommates, so we try to keep quiet.

FH and I lived above his brother and SIL for 6 months, I was mortified when after we moved out his brother made a comment about hearing us all the time!!

WE live in an Apartment Complex and our Apartment is an addition to the building. Which means we do not share a common wall. DH plays guitar and I blast the music and no one has complained about being loud. With that said, No....I am not worried about waking the neighbors.

Well....once when we lived in an apt, we did not realize that our headboard was on the opposite side of our neighbors bedroom....(the bldng was set up weird) ...and they knocked on the wall during the deed!

The guy in the apt next door to us won't look us in the eye when he passes us in the hallway. FH and I thinkk this is hilarious.
We don't hold back - why am I gonna shove a pillow in my face to muffle my pleasure just so the strangers in our building don't hear?

FH is always so paranoid that our neighbors will hear. We live in an apt. complex where the walls are super thin. I actually think it's exciting where he on the other hand gets very distracted by this. hahahahahah

I live in the apartment above my mother in law. Our bedroom is right on top of hers - we've learned to have quiet nookie! ETA: We bought a VERY STURDY bed (does not shake) and put 3/4' plywood under the boxspring for extra sturdiness

I live in an apartment complex and the people below us have a son that cries all the time (he's around 3 yrs old) so I don't care if I wake them up!
BTW: We used to have a neighbor that got 'very into what she was doing' and we heard it all night. I'm glad she moved, although, I rather have that than a screaming three year old

I live in an apartment complex (moving very soon though). We hear our upstairs neighbors all the time. I used to think it was funny and now I totally ignore it. We also heard the people who lived there before them. I have myself convinced that they would not hear us and that this is an advantage to a lower level apartment.
