Mine is kickass! We rent out an entire bar on the upper east side. Plenty of liquor flowing. Plenty of dancing.
Best of all... plenty of STORIES for the day after!

Free open top shelf bar....loads of food and pro gambling tables setup (craps, poker, blackjack, Roulette). They gave away a bunch of prizes including a 50' Plasma TV.
And like I said in another thread, I left after a half hour.

They are not so bad. They are usually at the library though where I work. The food and company is usually good. Other holiday parties I had were at a coworkers house and they were good too.

Mine stinks.
My brothers company once had it at the Museum of Natural history in the room with the whale on the ceiling, he said it was amazing.

i didnt even go to mine this year. teachers at my school are not into it. they had it on Monday at a boring place. when i used to work for a cellular company during my college days we had thr best parties. one year was at the garden city hotel- we got so drunk and had a blast- and the stories the next day were even better!

Ours was actually pretty fun. It was at a restaurant and there was a DJ and everything. Enjoyable for a free evening.

At my old firm, I actually loved our holiday parties.
They were at the Marriott Marquis in Manhattan, all top shelf liquor and plenty of yummy food. Awesome DJ and lots of after-partying (if ya catch my drift)
I had loads of good friends at my old firm, so we totally had a BLAST getting drunk off our respective arses. And yup, in the wild and single days, there was plenty of hooking up by many different members of the firm
