Spinoff from a post on BHB (Subway weridos).. What is with all the drama?
My god..
I once told a guy off for trying to 'rub' me.
I got shoved by a lady who looked me dead in the face while she did it just before the doors closed. I guess she thought I was hogging space but I was standing over my carry on (between my legs) so I took up less space. She wanted on and didnt want to squeeze in between me and the door. She looked at me like I was dirt then when the bell rang for the doors to close she reached out and pushed me, for spite I guess. W.TF?
I've had to stand between two bickering women over the fact that the E train is ALWAYS crowded up front between 7Ave going downtown to 34th St. I gave up and said 'ladies, our stop is next, lets just all go home now' My god!?!?! grow up!
I seen the man take a crap on the station platform.
Rats have come within in a foot of me (from those little walkways the service people use via platform level) FREAKED me out and the guys around me. of course.... laughed. Buggers!
WHat is it with people being so cruel, dumb, dramatic or freakish in the subway? It's like the worst comes out of people! Perfect example is the case where people stand BY as a person struggles to get out the tracks.
I HATE the subways!

I always take the last cars of the E train when I go to my FIL's house. I know how crowded it gets in the front!
What I hate the most about subways are when I have to take the elevator to get down to the subway level. I live in Inwood/Washington Heights and there are a lot of stations that require you go up/down the elevator. I always get freaked that I will get stuck in the crowds. Now its even worse that they have cut down on the elevator operators in some stations and people shove, curse, etc... their way in, but I guess thats better than walking up and down a bunch of flights of the emergency exits (they STINK!!!! )

I saw a 'homeless person' having his way with a poster of J-Lo in the PA E train station. He was talking dirty to her and everything, You know the posters in the windows of the little kiosks they have. Talk about poor mans porn.
My cousin got stabbed by some psycho on the F Train who kept screaming that she was fat, and then stabbed her with something - when my cousin started yelling no one would help her or stop the freak.
My MOH and I saw a guy having his way with himself on the F train at like 4am one time.
One lady got on the same E train stop your talking about and pushed her way in and some guy said hey watch out - she called him a 'typical Fing NYer' as the doors closed I wanted to bash her face.

I'm so glad I don't need to take one to work.
When we move back to LI and I have to take the LIRR I will take the bus to work instead of the subway - or walk.
I hate subways and while I can figure out pretty well where I'm going on them I try not to take them.
I've yet to see anything you have seen but I did see a 'space alien' complete with bubble helmet on one once!
