Mine have never met as my FIL's are in the UK and my parents are here. But my FMIL wants to meet my parents and may be planning to come over around Xmas time. YIKES!! Little nervous about the culture thing!

It's, ummm, Okay between my parents and my FILs. Last week though, my Dad came to FH's uncle's funeral (he drove down the Brooklyn from CT), and FILs were so impressed you would think my Dad walked from Los Angeles!
They'll get along well enough.

They LOVE each other. We have celebrated holidays together. Our moms will be dress shopping together

Mine and his have never met.
They'll meet before the wedding.. im sure it will be fine.. my dad is like me.. likable. hehe.. my stepmonster mostly people just ignore. Thank GOD. If they don't we usually sorta have a disclaimer.. 'sorry she's like that, we try to avoid taking her in public.'

Our parents are like peas and carrots! They went to dinner last week ( didn't even invite us!!), and our moms are going dress shopping together. I couldn't be happier about this!

my mom can't STAND my MIL - it is very awkward, especially since we are like raymond and live across the street from my parents now. My mother hides out whenever my mother in law comes to town, and this really hurts her feelings. Those of you whose parents all get along are really lucky!

My parents don't really have an opinion of his parents and vice versa. But if I had to pick one, I guess they like eachother. They are TOTALLY different kinds of people and so I think they just leave it at that. Like, oh, I like you, I just don't want to spend time with you. That sort of thing.

they seem to like each other.... fh's parents dont get to see the split personality my mom develops so thats been good, and my mom seemes to like them but at time gets jealous of them.

ours love each other - we were lucky and had many nice times together - now fh's dad always comes out with us to dinners, etc...its nice that we never have to worry about splitting the holidays or anything!

Our parents met right after we got engaged last November. My FFIL is very opinionated and wants his way all the time. I don't see them getting along in the future. Right now my FIL's are driving me crazy so my Mom and Step dad are not too happy with them right now.

Interesting question, I think the opinions change during and after the wedding planning and the wedding, then when we want to have kids. FFIL passed away a few years ago. My dad is well, my dad. Our moms are friendly to each other. No real interaction. My sis IL's and my mom, well that's a horse of a different color!

Mine haven't met yet really... they met one time for about 5 minutes... I am really nervous because they are VERY different and I am not sure they will like each other.
But I guess they are going to have to live with it!! Luckily, my parents love him and his parents love me!
I guess it doesn't matter if they really like each other or not, for holidays we will visit both, I can't see them really hanging out too much.

They are yet to meet, I don't think it will be a problem, but my parents are from the Caribbean and his are american, so they are Very cultutrally opposite. Not too worried
