Spinoff from friends with benefits: Can you have sex with no emotion?

I have heard so many pple say that women cant have sex 'like a man'. Women cant 'just have sex' cause somehow there emotions get involved.. WHat kind of woman are you or how have u acted in the past?

i have been in love and made love, and then I have been with guys who it is purely about SEX and when its over, I am more then happy to see them hit the road.. I will admit i think that making love and clicking mentally, and physically is an amazing feeling, but there aint nothing too shabby about getting off and going home either!

For me, I couldn't. I'm too much of an emotional wreck.

I was a virgin until I started dating DH. I could never have sex without emotion. If I could, I would have done it in college when everyone else was.

I have to be in love, and beyond that, a really committed relationship. I already pretty much knew I was going to marry FH when we had sex. I could have had sex with a lot of guys before and since, but I never would. There's nothing like the bond FH and I share.

Also, despite waiting what I felt was a long time, I was one of the first of my firneds to lose my virginity, and as I'm hearing the HORROR stories of my friends and their awful experiences, even as a dults who are out of college, I'm so happy that I made the decision I did, to wait until I was really in love. After I first had sex I was glowing for days and so excited. Most of my friends were like 'that was it?' I don't think it had to do with skill in bed, I think it had to do with being in love

I cant see how people can have sex and not have any emotional attachment to that person.
I know I would....but that is just me.

I have in the past had sex wiht a guy and then just got up and left afterwards. We didnt have any romantic expectations of each other. It happened just that once and things werent awkward afterwards whenever we would see each other. Some may think its wrong, but hey it wasnt like I wanted anything more from him. Things happen sometimes and in that instance we were just two people who wanted to have sex. I have no shame.

I just posted on the other thread that I do believe this hormone exists.

However, I have had sex without any emotion in the form of a few one night stands (with strangers.) I was absolutely disgusted with myself the next day though and hated EVERYTHING about it. After those few episodes, I decided I never wanted to do anything like that again, and then I met FH.

So, yes, I am capable of having sex without emotiuon, but those experiences made me realize that I do not want to.

I'll admit that Sex with the person you love is much better than casual sex....but I believe that women can do anything that men can do...BETTER!!!!! so casual sex without any emotion is definalty possible for woman. The choice if its for you is completly a personal one that each woman has to make for herself.

Re: Spinoff from friends with benefits: Can you have sex with no emotion?

there was definately a time in my life when i had the 4F s mentality:

Find 'em
Feel 'em
F*ck 'em
Forget 'em

(sorry for the blatant raunchiness )

i think you have to know your personal feelings/ limitations on the situation. For me, i could enjoy the act in itself, without it needing to be validated or 'fulfilled' by emotions. i never felt like i had to 'feel loved' to have sex, But i do think being mutually in love makes it much more amazing. I also think that different periods in my life called for different needs. as much as i couldnt imagine having emotionless sex Now... back in college, i didnt Want the emotional feeling or any strings attached.

Women can totally have sex without emotions, the catch is we can't continually sleep with the same guy with no emotions....IMO....once, twice, okay FIVE times is fine with us, but the longer it goes on, just sex, play the 'what if' game....
