Ours is Mikasa too...we also did not want something very formal..we dont do too many formal events...and by the time we do our tastes may have changed so we stuck with something more everyday( but registered for everyday as well)

I really think there's something to the idea that brides who pick the same hall have similar taste. I registered for the Lenox Tribeca set, which is almost an exact replica of the Vera Wang Blanc sur Blanc, with the white on white embossing, etc.
