For past and future brides, Would you reccommend getting the same company to do the photos and video?
Has anyone heard anything about this? Thanks!

Our photog told us when its from the same company there is no competing for shots and also if something was wrong (battery going dead or lens cap on) the other person would help the other one out.
Otherwise, no reason not to go w/ different company.

I am not going with the same company for photo and video- although i am not against it, it just worked out that way... i asked about competing for shots and helping eachother out if necessary, and basically both people chuckled...they have a job to do, they both are in the business to make you happy and your day captured...
i was even told, that they of course would help eachother- you never know when they will need the help
so i wouldnt stress about it...if you get the same company great, if not i dont think it is a big deal

Mine was a packaged deal, if I wanted the photographer, I got video too, but I didn't mind. I think they work well together if they are in the same company. But there is no rule that you have to go with the same company if you don't want.

We are not doing the same company. I have heard that not using the same company can give you two different perspectives, which is nice. We were going to do the same for both, but we weren't crazy about our photographers video, so went with someone else..
