And while threading is the least damaging form of hair removal I would seriously rather have my teeth pulled then get threaded. It is by far the most painful beauty experience EVER!

True, not PAINLESS but much less painful. I can't even use regular wax. It literally rips my skin off!
Have fun!

Wish they weren't so far out east! I agree the worst hair removal experience I have had was threading. I had bumps and little friction burns on my eyebrows for a week!

Hi ladies,
I have the answer for all of you that are dealing with painful Brazilian wax experiences.

I agree about the threading! But I am going to give it another shot before the wedding!

I have never been waxed anywhere before Can someone please tell me what threading is? How long does your 'hair' have to be to wax it?
I am interested in trying it but scared!

Re: Spinoff: Getting stuff waxed!
I cant get my eyebrows waxed because I break out. I get the threading and don't find it very painful Actually I prefer it. As for anywhere else...I'm vit Val (mrs.C in 07) about being a scaredy cat and just shave

Re: Spinoff: Getting stuff waxed!
i've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and honestly after the first few times you get used to it and it hardly hurts at all now...no redness, no irritation at all...the only thing is there some ppl who know who to thread well and some ppl who do NOT...make sure you go to someone good!

BALONEY!!!! It hurts and takes twice as long as waxing. Ugh I wish someone would've told me that before I went. I would rather get waxed! Well, my eyebrows anyway

Yeah I need hair length too! I let mine grow out and wanted to do a trial run, but I totally chickened out! And FH told me if I didn't shave he was gonna make me sleep on the couch!!!

Re: Spinoff: Getting stuff waxed!
You hair should be AT LEAST 1/4 inch long but not more than 3/4 of an inch or it will hurt A LOT! At least that is my experience.
HTH!
