My MIL was just here for a visit, and IN PUBLIC she called my DH (Brian), Ready..........

I know....it's disgusting!!!!!
Even worse, my DH is significantly older than me, so here he is, this adult male well into his 40s, (I'm 27), and his mommy is calling him Bri-Ni-Poo!

My mom doesn't have a nickname for DH, but she did have one for an ex of mine. I dated this guy for 4 yrs that was a jerk. My mom named him A.H for a$$hole. I had no idea until the relationship was over. Now, I refer to him that way at times.

FMIL calls FH by his middle name, Josef, and sometimes that gets turned into Guiseppe.
This mostly bugs me, because she was the one that named him. If you wanted to all him Josef, why didn't you make tha this first name!

My MIl doesn't really have a pet name, but she'll call him stupid in Italian when he's being a jerk. My niece actually calls him Stevie, which for some reason I find ridiculously annoying. she's only six, but it gets under my skin. Maybe because FH calls him Stevie and from her I find it endearing.

She doesnt have any nick names for him but before we got married she said 'my baby is leaving me' BABY?? He is 28 years old! Hardly a baby!
