Spinoff- If the Runaway Bride was an LIW member...

How would you treat her/speak of her?

Would she get more or ?

Hard to say when you don't know someone personally - but based on what I know about her - I'd support her on the boards, because I don't like to be mean, but I wouldn't agree with her

I think it would be one thing if she had cold feet, left a note and ran away... but to cause worry on her family making it look like she was kidnapped... that's just wrong I think...

I agree.

I'd probably listen to her posts but not understand why. As mentioned, its also hard b/c no one did know her personally.

If she posted about HER situation...I WOULD TELL HER EXACTLY WHAT I THINK....

I think that her situation would be different if she was a LIW bride. We have each other to talk to and vent to before it gets to that point. Each one of us is ready to help any bride in trouble. She would have come here instead!

I'd ask her why her family gave the press the absolutely MOST VAPID picture to show OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Then I'd say, We heard from your cousin, your pastor, and most of the 600 guests from your wedding, but let's get to someone important - What does your Flower Girl think of all this?

And finally, I'd ask her to please get off my television so that they can report some actual news.

Well, there are other LIW brides who I think are just as troubled, if not more than, the Runaway Bride.

I found that there's no reasoning with that type of person. Although I ingore them, they didn't have any media publicity for pulling stupid stunts. I don't know how I would react if they did.
