what are you doing about the the pillow and basket, or are you not having them hold these items? My FG will almost be two and my RB will be 3 and like 7 mos and I cant see them holding these items all the way down the aisle or knowing what to do.....
If you have a young RB or FG, what are you having them do? TIA!
PS- this is my goddaughter and first nephew so theyre very special to me and I want them to be a part of our day, even though theyre pretty young

My FG did great... she threw the petals and grinned the whole way down. But she just turned 4.
My RB was 2 and did AMAZING. He held the pillow and then sat down.
I think they might be fine... just prep them!

My flower girl will be 2 1/2....I'm having my florist make a basket with fake flowers....not sure if she would know to throw petals down the aisle....My ring bearer will be 2 1/2 also....not sure how he's going to do with the pillow...I can only hope he holds onto it! lol

My FG is really fast for her age, I think she will walk right down and go to my mom (her moms in the BP) if someone guides her. but i think she wont really throw petals.... should i have her just hold a 'kissing ball' or a small bouquet or something instead?
I see my RB dropping the pillow and going to play hahaha, hes such a cutie. Im second guessing purchasing a pillow. My jean M has this and Im thinking hed be more inclined to actually hold on to it. Or would be chuck it like a frisbee? Who knows!
My ringbearer and nephew will be two weeks shy of 2 yrs. old at the wedding and my Mom is making the pillow - my SIL is going to practice w/him before hand but I don't know if he'll carry it.
My niece and flower girl will be 16 mths and I'm not going to get her a basket but I'm thinking of doing a kissing ball, but again she may not even carry that.
I just wouldn't spend a lot of $$ on things for them in the event that they don't carry them.

got it! i got an inexpensive basket and pillow from the knot wedding shop in my colors and i think theyll be fine. and if they dont make it down the aisle with them, whats the harm? its always cute to watch them. those are the things that make the ceremony unique!
