Because having all those Bushes in office is similar to having an elective monarchy. I am guessing we will get more the same with him in office as well. I personally wouldn't vote for him because I think he is pretty corrupt. I think he helped his brother cheat in 2000. As for 2004.... well, I have similar theories about that as well (still waiting for the half million absentee ballots to be counted).

See since i am quite clueless as to who or what Jeb Bush stands for i was sooo curious to know more about him
but i think grouping him in with his father and brother because of genetics..isn't fair. Likely..DEFINATELY, fact..not necessarily.
There have been other political families..ie Kennedy's..would you feel the same about them?
I answered the 2000 election statement in the other post. As for 2004..i don't think that has anything to do with Jeb Bush? ETA...saw how you associated the 2004...

His name...just kidding...but seriously, Jeb isn't exactly the name of a president. but more importantly, it would mean that it would be almost like a monopoly to have at least 16 years of one political family in higher office in a short period of time.

I don't think genetics has anything to do with it. They are a family of Republicans-share values, shared agendas, shared corruption which is why I would not vote for him. I also responded to you on the other post about Jeb.

That's a valid question. But I am looking at the actions of these families, not just simply the fact that they are political families.

Re: Spinoff ...Jeb Bush
The kennedys unfortunatly never really got the opportunity to act upon their name. granted many kennedys are in politics to this day, however, regarding the presidency, that name only had about 3 years.

Not to answer on Jeb but good point about the Kennedys....They had their share of corruption too - beginning with the father Joe and rigging the election for JFK with the mob, and then there was Ted & Chappaqua - drowning that woman.

Re: Spinoff ...Jeb Bush
What in the world does what happened 40 years ago with the Kennedys have to do with Jeb Bush? Just looking for a democratic family to attack?
