Spinoff - Marriage License Question -

This might be dumb, but what information is on there? Just our names? What does it say? Sorry . . . just curious. TIA!

I think it has names-occupation-parents names-previous marriages - age.

I think it has names-occupation-parents names-previous marriages - age.

They also ask where your parents were born and where you were born. I have no idea why they want to know your occupation.

the actual marriage license contains the following information:

Name, Age, Address, DOB, Where you were born, your occupation, Parents Names (mothers maiden name), their birth place, & # of previous marriages.

for the Bride it also states the new surname.

info that needs to be filled in by the person performing the ceremony,

their name, title, telephone number, address.

date, location & time of ceremony.

then witness names & addresses
then bride & groom signature & witness signatures.

then signature or marriage officiant.
