Okay the 3 1/2 inch heels seemed to be too high for me. Thanks ladies for the help,
but someone also suggested that I can buy my dream shoes then have a shoemaker cut the heel to a normal hieght.
Anyone ever do or hear of this?

I wouldn't suggest it...
It might be off balanced... the arch is made for the height of the shoes. If it doesn't come out right, then you cannot even return them becuase they are cut... then you are stuck with a pair of shoes you cannot even wear or return.

i would only suggest it if you are cutting off A LITTLE because of the reason stated above
