Spinoff of adoption ? - Would you adopt an older child?
I mean say 4 years or above. I personally haven't really thought much of this issue but I'd like to believe that if I have the love in my heart to love and want a child than I could love a child any age, not just a beautiful baby

I have always said that if someone left a child at my door I could fall in love in a moment. I don't know if DH will adopt a child older than 4, since I want Molly to always be the oldest child BUT I would not discount that idea. A child is a child and ALL children deserve a mommy who kisses them every night.

No doubt about it, we would adopt any child any age I dont think we could ever say no to any child I could not have the heart to do that and the older ones are the children that should be adopted first for the fact they need that love and support from a family they understand the feeling of being lonley and unloved

Absolutley!!!!!!!!! Dh and I plan on TTC number 2 sometime next year. However we would both like another child after #2, But I have no intention of being pregnant after 30. So we are looking into adoption. I am excited at the fact that I could have another child in my life to love and skip over all the parts I dont like!!! It could not get more wonderful than that!!

This is hard b/c kids are so set in their ways already and it is so hard to get them to do things your way and etc etc. That is why I think most people would want a younger child. Roger said he would consider it. I know I am not open to it, maybe if they were like 1 or 2 but not much older

Nope, I would want the baby and us to bond early on, not a few years later in life...
