Spinoff on All the Wedding Band Threads

I am new to the whole wedding thing...first in family and besides my one friend who got married in July never really had exposure to wedding preparations. (Side note, you girls and this site have been helpful especially in trying to find vendors.)

Do wedding Bands normally match the engagement ring? My fiance and I always thought we would buy yellow gold bands. Of course, I didn't realize there were other options. What are your thoughts?
