We are paying for half of our wedding, my parents are paying for half. We already own a home and our mortgage is not that bad. Everything is going to the wedding now. AH, it is almost over.

Since we don't have to buy a house, we are okay with having a big wedding. that and I promised FH that after the wedding, we would save to buy a Viper. What a trade. Always something to save for!

My parents have given us a VERY generous portion towards our wedding. We have to cover the difference plus a down payment on a home. But my parents have also opened their home to us until we get married, so we live here rent free. My parents would do anyhting for us, and I have to say I do not feel bad one bit for having a 40K-50K dollar wedding. It's what we want, and it's do-able for us, so we're going with it.
