Do you think you could marry someone who is paralyzed knowing it will mean you never have sex?

If FH was suddenly paralyzed, I would still marry him. Although it might be easier if I had NEVER done the deed, then I wouldn't know what I was missing

That's a tough one. I know if my FH were suddenly paralyzed I would stil marry him because I love him so much and we've been through so much together. Now, if we were in a newer relationship and hadn't had feelings of love yet, then I think it would be hard to start a relationship without the possibility of intimacy. Does that make sense?

Oh definitely. I know I wouldn't leave DH if it happened to him, but I don't know if I would start a relationship with someone paralyzed.

On a serious theorectical note, does he still produce sperm so we could have biological children?

OK I know he's paralyzed...but is he impotent...or 'not working down there'? Many paralyzed men can still have sex...I thought that was the case for him.

To answer your question...I don't think I'd be able to marry someone if sex wasn't an option.

If FH suddenly got paralyzed...GOD FORBID...I would still marry him anyway. If it was someone I just met, I honestly don't know if I could. If I never had it before, maybe it would not be like that, but being that I had, I think it would bother me. I feel awful about this response.

If DH suddenly became paralyzed - I would of course stay with him even if it meant no sex ever again.

However, to start a relationship or marriage knowing that no sex will ever be had, I don't think I could. If I was a virgin, it would be a little easier to go into it blindly though, I think.

Anyway, if he was paralyzed and couldn't perform any longer I'd stay with Mr Boots, I'd miss the sex of course but I love him and we'd make it work. Relationships change constantly anyway so I'd want to adapt to that too.

I think I could start a relationship with someone in that situation. You don't love someone because he's great in bed, that's just a bonus. I don't know though.

Also, how paralyzed are we talking? Waist down? Neck down?
