So my office has a cooler, and we get new bottles to put on it. But I have never seen anyone clean or change a filter in the bottle holder, and it MUST have one...I am thinking it is probably worse than tap water! Anyone else think this?

I worry about mine too. But there is a light on mine that should indicate if the filter needs changing.
Ours has no light.

I don't remember what it was like at my old job. I just remember the sissy girls who would call the supply guy to change the bottle

This is why they say we don't have one because no one wants to clean out the filter.

Ours doesn't have a filter, but why would you need one if you keep filling it with bottled water? They put the big bottles of Deer Park water in it. Bottled water doesn't need to be filtered, right?

Well, that's what ours is, but I figure the thing you push to get it gets dirty inside!

We have 2 types, Deer Park and one regular one with a filter that has never changed. I stay the hell away from the filtered one.

We dont have the ones with the bottles. we have the ones that are hooked up to the pipes and get filtered through somehow. I suppose there is a filter. I should check!

I thought only the ones that you attach a water supply to had filters. The ones with the bottles, the water should already be filtered. I think.
We used to have one at my old office that they just hooked up tap water too and that had a filter. No one ever changed it and water started turning yellow. EW!!! We convinced the owner to get bottled water.

That's because we have to go with whatever the state tells us too. Basically what ever the state is contracted with, which most likely is the cheapest.
