SPINOFF: Photographers - who offers the Soho book?
This is the next big thing I want to book, and I was originally looking at Imagine, but this Soho book is intriguing me. Would you please tell me if your photographer offers it, and is it extra or included in the package? Thanks so much! :o)

I am looking to take care and design the album myself, however I believe the companies that offer digital albums like to deal with professional photographers exclusively. I mentioned this idea to my photographer and he was up for it. $$ permitting we will work on one together.
This will be an additional cost. FM me if you want more details...

My photographer works with them. She is a freelancer- she doesn't work through a major studio. Her name is Autumn Lin- her # is 718.921.0912 (she's in China for the next month).
She's very good & a friend of mine. We went to college together. She has a BFA in photography.

We are getting it through our photographer...and they do send them out to the manufactuer...and that package is usually on the higher end of all packages..

Soho is just one brand. There are several companies that do it. Digicraft is the company that is printing mine. I spoke with some out of state photographers before deciding which company to ask for since I figured they would know better than I would.
When I wanted this last year, few people know what I was talking about but now its getting more popular.
And there are also photo labs doing their own as well which I would guess is cheaper. No matter what, its more expensive than the traditional albums and A LOT more work but its a good alternative if you are willing to put the money into it.
Edited to add that Mark Kauffmans studio does this.

this company buts together books rather quickly and you don't get a say in this process That is what Preceptions does. Doug will custom make it with the ideas you want in the book. This is the reason why i went to Patken. A tad bit more money but well worth it

FYI: Be aware of the sample book they show you. I had two photographers straight out lie to me that they took the photos in the sample book and did the layout - One photographer even told us a story about the bride. It was a bunch of Bull S!@# If it looks like the sample book on the website, they didn't shoot the wedding or design at the book.

I'm getting it from Sherwood Triart.
It's quite a bit more expensive, but I really loved the look. Plus you get to use a lot more photos than some regular album layouts.
