Spinoff: Registry - Is there something that you really
wanted to register for, but FH thought it was useless/too$$$$, etc?
For me it was:
1) Dyson ANimal (I still registered for it though) 2) This gorgeous wicker hamper from PB (didn't register for ) 3) Fine china (didn't register for ) 4) Cuisinart Mixer (Still registered for)
Pretty much anything that was $$$$ he didn't want to register for.

Not really.. he just said whatever we dont get, we will get 10% off if we buy it ourselves, so we just added everything we wanted.

He was originally like that, but then I said 'what do you care, you're not paying for it.' Then he saw the light. He is more concerned about where we will keep things in an apartment. So we left things off for that reason - like the kitchenaid mixer.

The waffle maker. FH hates pancakes and french toast, he only likes waffles. But, when I suggested waffle iron he said no.

Anything related to cheese I wanted. He was indifferent. We had graters, the Quesadilla maker, the cheese server, slicers YOU NAME IT. He wanted to register for that vibrating massage chair for like $1700 at Fortunoff.

oh my... we just sat in that the other day and i asked if we could put it on our registry.... i LOVE it....

FH was all about registering for the $$$ stuff...we put on the Dyson Animal too and lots of other items!

Waterford Crystal. I took it off the registry because I thought it was too expensive. So we picked something less expensive.

I want this sweet bar. It's $1000.00. I might add it at the last minute, so I can get 10% off after the wedding. We did register for a different bar though, it was $350.

My FH was telling me to register for everything, and I was saying no to alot of stuff. Especially things that were to much money. Of course I gave in to a couple of things.

There's no harm in registering for expensive things. Someone or a group of people may buy them for you. Worse comes to worse, you don't get it, but I'd still register for anything and everything you may want or need.
