Spinoff to Age Group Post...

The post about the age ranges made me curious...

Do you have a lot of young single guests?!?! Almost all of our younger guests are in serious relationships (even though FH and I are among the first of our friends to get married). I don't think there will be any 'matchmaking' going on at our wedding because no one is single!!!

Same here, all of our younger guests are all ready paired off and my moh is single. I was hoping to be the match maker to intuitively seat her next to the SINGLE tall, dark, handsome, successful, Jewish doctor (or lawyer) bachelor of her dreams but things aren't looking too promising...

Same here...I will have very few single people there! What a bummer...matchmaking is so fun!

same with me! One of my father's friends (he is like 40) told me to make sure I invited lots of single friends. He will be so disappointed cause all my friends are in serious relationships/engaged

Yup, everyone is basically paired up already, which is why we aren't doing the bok or garter toss.

Well DH was the last of his friends to get married so there were no shidduchs (yiddish for making matches) made at our wedding.

HOWEVER, we did turn one of our guests into a Jewish doctor for one night. His date caught the bouquet and now they are getting married!
