I've never really seen them but I think I'm picturing what you mean.... I would def check with the ceremony location first before you get your heart set on them because some locations have become really strict on what is allowed for decorations.

using candelbras - yes, I've seen those and they're beautiful....

what type of candles, and would they be on the floor? If so, I can just about GUARANTEE that it won't fly at any site - it's just too much of a fire hazard, to think that someone/something could catch on fire while coming down the aisle.

Yes candelabra or some type of cylinder like candle holder.

Some people use hurricane lamps with a tall candle and place these on a stand that is decorated with flowers. these tend to look very grad and beautiful. Ive mainly seen them for winter weddings

Hurricane lamp

I have tried to find the review I had seen them in but had no success but this is an example of the Hurricane lamp on a pedestal. They would not fall and this bride wont burn...
