Spinoff to Audreys bakery-

Has anyone used Black Forest to make their grooms cake?

Not too sure of the tradition but I think it originated in the south, it's a cake that the bride picks out for the groom, something that represents his likes/hobbies/etc.

I want to present one to my FH at the rehearsal dinner and was curious if anyone had ever used Black Forest.

No...I have never gone to Black Forest, but I know peopl ewho have and they rave about it. My catering hall in Westbury uses them for the wedding cake!!! That should say something.
