Spinoff to Barbs Merry Christmas

I suddenly feel so sad that our year is over. It didnt hit me till just now when I read Barbs Merry Christmas. I know after the next few weeks alot of the girls will slowly be dwindling away from here. I will miss all the craziness of this board.
Each and every one of you have become special to me all in your own ways. I love all of you.

but what an amazing year it was!!! so glad we all connected, and im happy lots of of us are real and/or FB friends

I don't really feel sad...it's been an awesome ride, and there's so much ahead of all of us!

AND NONE OF IT INVOLVES GUEST LISTS, NO-SHOWS, RSVP CARDS, PAYING FOR POSTAGE, FB RSVPS, VENDOR NIGHTMARES, ETC. ETC. ETC.

Misty watercolor memories of the way we were.
Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind
smiles we give to one another
for the way we were.
Can it be that it was all so simple then
or has time rewritten every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
tell me would we? Could we?


Memories, may be beautiful and yet
what's too painful to remember
we simply choose to forget
So it's the laughter we will remember
whenever we remember
the way we were.

I kind of feel sad too. I'm a little jealous for all the 2011ers who are so exciting for all the fun things coming up in their year I miss all that stuff!! lol
