Spinoff to Best and Worst

1) What was the best wedding you ever attended and what made it so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it's good feel free to compliment RH!!!!!!!!!!

2) What was the worst wedding you have ever attended and why was it so unsuccessful? Please don't name RH sites, we do not want to offend anyone, I just want to kind of get a consensus about this.

Best wedding was my sisters! (i'm a little biased of course) It was at Reid Castle in Purchase. The RH was amazingly beautiful inside and outside and the whole affair was just beautiful. The food was pretty good and the DJ made the party a BLAST. By far the most fun!

Worst wedding was one I attended when I lived in Oregon. It was in a botanical garden, so it was pretty. There was a tent, but not decorated at all. The CPs were a bunch of candy dishes filled with different colored M&Ms. CH was a truck that had 3 different types of beer with the taps on the outside of the truck and you just went and filled your glass up And it was only open bar for CH, which is fine, just not what I'm used to. There was also no food during CH. Dinner was the worst part. There was no option, it was just a buffet of make-your-own tacos and burritos. There was a tray with shells, one with two different meats, a couple with veggies, and that was it!!!! I felt bad, but we left after about 2 hours. Oh, and the band was a banjo, a cello and someone singing bluegrass. I'm glad that the couple did what they wanted, but it really was just not fun.

1- Best weddings I've been to on LI were probably my cousins and my best friends weddings. They were both at the Watermill which is why I listed both. They did a nice job with both weddings, and you couldn't tell that either of them were on a budget. It helped that one wedding my entire family was there and the other all my closest friends were, but they were just fun weddings. I'm not usually a fan of RH's that do 2 or 3 events at a time, but everythign was great both times and you could barely tell you weren't the only ones there


2- Worst wedding I've ever been to was actually at an expensive RH on LI.. The wedding was so boring! It was kind of like they were focused on being so elegant that they forgot weddings are supposed to be fun! The DJ was awful, and the cocktail hour was laid out so weird which made 300 people seem like 1000. The couple definitely went for impressing everyone first, but the fancy food choices didn't appeal to most guests and they were starving after CH. I was really disappointed with everything, including the service, the same waitress asked me 3 times if I wanted a drink and each time I told her what I wanted and she never delivered one. It's such a shame too because it was one of the more expensive halls and didn't live up to the price tag at all.

The runner-up to this one was at a RH out East, but it really isn't the places fault so much as the bride and groom were boringgggg.. They didn't even get up and dance all night aside from mandatory dances.. Place was beautiful though lol

The best wedding i was ever at was my cusins when i was little. They had dancers that were amazing and really got the crowd going , it was my first wedding i remember and i thought that all weddings were that fun... alias they are not.

its funny one of the worst weddings i was at was at the WM- the places was beautiful but my table was family and we were put on the grooms side when we are the brides cousins and my mom and FH and most of my table got what was supposed to be steak and it was roastbeef in a nasty inedible pepper sauce. ( the rest of the food was ok just that)
