What things are you willing to give up versus what you absolutely REFUSE to let go of?
hair color, nails, car?
For me..I'm forsaking my highlights and letting it all grow in. I'm also not shopping AT ALL (UGH!) DH is thinking of turning in the Mustang for another car that might be cheaper monthly payments.

Well, I drive a Civic, and was thinking of getting a new Jetta, but won't to save $...I cut out buying lunch at work and bring....Cut down on shopping...Cut my cell phone down to what I felt was necessary...Cutting out manis/pedis...Highlights I am keeping up until after the wedding at least but the wedding planning is making me go gray (at 25!) so I think I will have to do something for that Cut out eating out so much, and when we do we started getting early bird deals with all the old people....

Where do I begin...
I sold my truck (it was my baby & came a very close 2nd to DH!)
I only go to the salon every 5 weeks instead of 2x a week...and I style my own hair now
I do my own nails....luckily they are mine
No more shopping
I'm sorry...was I supposed to keep something????
Oh, space..... I cannot live in a studio. No offense to those who do, but I am extremely clostrophobic, so we live in a 3 BR apartment, whereas I guess the normal thing to do would be live in a 1br ot JR 4 or something like that.

the highlights will never go- thats my only luxury.... i even cut out my manicures- i get them every 3 weeks and a pedicure has been cut too.

FH already traded in his $50K truck for something more practical, that will suit us better in the long run.
I already got rid of my highlights so maintenance won't be much of an issue.
I never did like shopping anyway.
And we were just saying that we don't get enough soup and saltines into our diets. j/k
We have a bid in on another house and if we get into it, things will be tight for awhile... I'm looking into taking a second job to help out - FH is already trying to rack up some OT.

I stopped getting my nails done and i barely have any work clothes to wear. I meant to the point where i am embarrassed. luckily i work in a very casual place.

I'm giving up my Audi
It's killing me because I love my car, but the reality is...I take the train to work, which is right across the street, so that car sits in the parking lot all week long.
