Spinoff to Cancellations . . .

For the ladies who gave a lesser headcount to the RH, how did you do this? We had to give our RH a completed seating chart 2 weeks before the wedding with names of who's sitting where. If we had not included everyone, we would have had tables with place settings missing and people with no place cards and seats. Maybe I'm missing something, but how do you work this out? My only guess is not all RH's make you give them a seating chart with names ahead of time?

Btw, we wound up with one couple being a no show the day of. I still don't get how people can do this!

when we gave our materials to the RH, i gave them the full table assignments, but highlighted two couples who were still on the fence and paid based on those couples NOT showing.

we had other last minute cancellations, so it all worked out. but had no one cancelled, i would have paid for the extra guests day of.
