Spinoff to Celebs.. Britney Spears.. hot? or regular girl? (with poll)

So in my group of friends, as we are all drinking, this debate comes up at LEAST once a month. This is about Britney pre-pregnancy....

My best friend claims that Britney Spears is an everyday girl that is just done up by hollywood makeup artists to be beautiful. That if she was walking down the street without makeup and her hair all done and her skimpy video close no guy would notice her.

The guys think she is naturally hot and would ALWAYS notice her. Even if she wasn't famous she would be in the top 1% of hotties at any club on any given night.

To my best friends credit, she admits that there ARE alot of celbs that are naturally beautiful... Catherine Zeta-Jones, Charlize Theron, Eva Medez, etc. etc. These women, she claims, dont need the 'doing up' that Britney does.

Britney Spears (IMO) just proved herself to be white trash. I do not think she is naturally beautiful, nor do i think that she has a good voice to sing. I think she is a great dancer, puts on a show, and had an awesome body (but then again, i think ANYONE can dance good and have an awesome body if they worked out w/ a personal trainer everyday, and took dance lessons everyday)

but - with that aside - i think she needs a lot of makeup to look as good as she looks in the magazines and videos.

Britney Spears (IMO) just proved herself to be white trash. I do not think she is naturally beautiful, nor do i think that she has a good voice to sing. I think she is a great dancer, puts on a show, and had an awesome body (but then again, i think ANYONE can dance good and have an awesome body if they worked out w/ a personal trainer everyday, and took dance lessons everyday)

I agree about the whole body thing... I wish I could have her trainer and Oprah's cook!

Ok SHE IS GROSS!!! I never ever ever found her hot no way no how....
She is cross eyed, has bad skin, her neck is thicker than her head so she looks distorted and her torso is longer than her legs so she looks disproportioned. Every single girl on these boards is hotter than her!!!

This is the way my friend gets, she gets soooo angry and points out all of these flaws, she literally turns red in anger. The guys just dont get it. Its so hard to explain that ANYONE can be made up to look like that, yet, here we all are sitting at the table NOT made to look up like that, you know?

I have always said she is a regular girl that has money to get her hair and makeup done and her legs rubed to get the cellulite out and all that other good stuff celebs do... but to me she was always just like any other girl that i would walk by on the street and pay no mind to!

Did you see her during the Matt Lauer interview. She was gross! First of all, she had no stylist there. I read that the Dateline people thought they were there the wrong day because she was there by herself -- no stylist, no hairdresser, no make up artist. You tell me what guy would have even cast a glance at her looking like that. So, now that I'm done w/ my vent, I think she is really just a plain jane made up to look glamorous by the Hollywood machine.

I loved really like britney pre-losing her mind ( ) stage...I even saw her in concert. That girl can dance!!!!! AND pretend to be really singing...

I went with a coworker for lunch today who proceeded to tell me that he saw her at a burger joint in manhattan (only a few tables in the place). she had a jet black hair wig on and was with K-Fed and two big men (assuming bodyguards???) He said that she was obnoxious and whispered a nasty (insulting) comment about him. What's happened to her?????

I always thought - even pre-trashy - that Britney Spears was just a very normal cute every day girl - who was just made up alot...

I think now proves it, but even before, you would see her without makeup or her fake hair, etc and see the HUGE difference

a friend of mine was backstage at a Brittney Spears concert, and said when he met her he wasn't at all impressed...he said she had really bad acne (guess even stars can get cursed!)
