Re: Spinoff to Father/Daughter Dance
We are having the same problem! FH has no clue and when I asked his mom she was like isn't he supposed to pick it. I just said as polite as possible, I don't care who picks the song, as long as I have one within the next few weeks lol! We will see!!

DH danced with his mom to The Pretender's - I'll Stand By You. His mom really loves that song so there was no question about it. It was really sweet.

Re: Spinoff to Father/Daughter Dance
When I asked FH, he took a (very thoughtful) pause, and then named the song that was currently on the radio.
Which was 'Sledgehammer,' by Peter Gabriel.

Re: Spinoff to Father/Daughter Dance
We had a big problem picking this song too..
DH and his mom ended up dancing to Somewhere Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World (the Hawaiian version).
DH really wanted Simple Man but my cousin used it and since we had our weddings at the same place he didn't want the same song too.
I also liked 'I Hope You Dance' - can't remember why DH vetoed it.
