Spinoff to Fortunoff.. Where are you registered???
How long before your wedding do you plan on registering?
I was thinking of registering in January for my Aug wedding.

we registered right at the 1 year mark! Originally my mom wanted to have my shower in the fall but things have changed...we also registered bc we knew we would be purchasing a home prior to the wedding..
Remember one thing, if you register more then 6 months prior to your wedding, you need to stay on top of it...Things get discontinued & you need to replace them!

We registered Feb 05 for our April 06 - under pressure from families. A lot of the items will have to be updated as we get closer though - many are seasonal.

I registered over a year before my wedding (only partially), simply because FH and I are moving in together in the next few months and have NOTHING for our home. I wanted people to have the option of getting me stuff off my registry that I really needed for my bday and xmas, as well as engagement presents.

I already started registries, but only put on china, crystal, some vases and appliances (Kitchen aid, etc). I plan on adding the rest of the stuff in Dec/Jan. I am going to have 2 showers, 1 here and 1 in Illinois, and not sure when those will happen, so I want to be prepared!

Well our 1 year mark just passed and we haven't registered yet! But I def plan on doing it b4 our 6 month mark! I plan on doing it in the fall. That will still give our guests about 9 months, should be ok!!

we are doing it a bit after our year mark--- we are moving into our new home on July 27th (about) and we want to have a housewarming/engagement party...therefore we will register before that
