How many of you are actually going to split up your guest list into 'A', 'B' list etc?
A coworker pointed out to me that if you are going to do this.. you better be aware of your RSVP dates, to make sure you leave the 'b' people enough time to RSVP without it being obvious they are B's...
I don't know what I'm goign to do... me and FH have to sit down and decide, cause right now we're at like 290, but I don't want to invite 250, and when I get 'no's' back invite 'b' people, cause I really can't afford to have more than 200-225 people there; but at the same time I dont want to not make my minimum (200)...

The only divid in my list is between people I know will come and people I know won't come, but have to invite out of respect.

We're doing A and B lists and have already considered that we may have to order 2 sets of invitations because of the RSVP. It's a pain, but I don't want to make anyone feel bad.

I do have a B list right now but I will decide as I get closer ~ I was thinking that 2 regarding the RSVP date...
right now I am only sending STD to the A listers...

DEFINETELY A 'B' LIST. WE HAVE NO CHOICE WE HAVE A MAX OF 170 AND WANT TO HOLD IT TO 150, 160 MAX. FH IS MAKING THE INVITES SO NOT SO MUCH A PAIN W/ THE SECOND RVSP DATE.

I was thinking over ordering my invites with 2 different rsvp dates... earlier ones for the 'a' list... and later one for the 'b' list...

i dont think we are going to have a 'b' list necessarily however if I dont have enough people and cant make my minumum I will try and come up with people

I think we're doing the same thing. There aren't many people left on our B-list and we're 30% above our minimum.
I was an obvious B-list invitee once. I got the invite AFTER the response date.

depending on what hall we chose we will probably do a an b. we have a lot of fickly family members so we really don't know if they will come.
