Spinoff to Jens tipping thread... write what you gave/will give
Lets compare: This is what I wrote down to give. Might change based on what you ladies reply
-photograpgers (2) and videographer (1)- $150 for all - limo drivers - $75 each on top of grat -bridal attendant- $75-100 -maitre D- $550-600 -jazz musicians (only during CT hr) - $100 for all -DJ w/ MC- $200 -makeup - $100 (shes doing me, mom, sis) -hair $25 -officiant ????? - flower delivery $20

Why $25 to hair and $20 to flower delivery? Don't you think the Hair person is doing a lot more for you?? Just curious?

Florist Delivery person (s)-$10-20 depending on how many
Deacon-100 Organist-25 Singer-35 Limos-$50 per driver Matre'd $900 (we have 280 people) Bridal attendant-$50 Band- $25 per member Photographers/Videographer -$50 each Assistant-$25

Do you have to tip makeup and hair people? They're gettting all the $ anyway....

I didn't tip the hair and makeup people, they were self-employed and got paid a lot of $. All together 8 people had hair and makeup done for my wedding.

All of your # sound about right-but the day of things might change. If the MD or someone is really bad-they will receive a lot less. We're not tipping someone who does not do their job well.

This is what I gave, if I can remember it all correctly.
-photographer and videographer - $50 each -limo drivers - $20 each (there we 2) -bridal attendant- $100 -maitre D- $300 -DJ - $50 -makeup - $20 -hair $20 -flower delivery $20

I personally, feel like although my hair person is self employed, she is crucial to my happiness on that day. If she is driving to me early in the morning and goes above and beyond, she deserves a nice tip. Thats my thinking.
p.s. My sister tipped the hair girl $100 in a thank you card. She had to start at 4:30am on a holiday weekend, and there were 5 girls.

Photographer - no idea, dad took care of it Limo drivers - 50 each Bridal attendant - 100 Maitre'D - 400 DJ - 100 ( I think, can't remember) Makeup - 25 for me Hair - 15 for me Officiant - 50 Florist Delivery - 20

Also I heard you dont tip the limo guys the 20% is sufficient...take that money and put it towards your photographers or the DJ....

I heard the same. The price alrady includes gratuity for the drivers, no need to tip on top of that.
