sounds like a lot of our FHs don't like to attend social events. what do you girls do when you are invited some place and your FH doesn't want to go????
after all of these years i have learned that if FH really doesn't want to go some place & i force him to go, i end up having a bad time. so when we get invited places, i tell him & make him decide what he wants to do. if its some thing i want to go to (ex: friends babies 1st birthday party) i go without him. i don't mine going by myself.

It depends where/what it is. If it's a big event I force him to go, but if it's a night out I actually prefer to go out by myself because I know he won't be having fun.

ok not always... i was being silly... sometimes though. HE always says he has a good time when I do make him go to stuff he is just stubborn at first.

We are very different. Im a people person, he is a home person.
FH will ALWAYS go if I really want him to so I only ask when its important to me

I also pick and choose my battles. Knowing full well that FH likely isn't going to want to go, I don't bother him, unless it's a huge event and I feel he really should be there. Sometimes to irk my nerves, he'll invite himself somewhere knowing I don't want him to come, just so he can say he tried to come with me. sneaky...

I make FH come lol.
The first DAY i met him I was already bringing him to my friends house. The first month I brought him to a work event and it was DEF a new experience for him.
If he says no I say, 'but baaaby... don't you wanna spend time with meeeeeeee!!!!!!! ?' lol

i usually remind of him of all the places i went with him that i didnt want to go to and that usuallt works, sometimes not though in which case i just go without him cuz i cant deal lol

it depends what type of event it is- if it's something really important I usually 'force' him to go, if it's something more casual I'll just go alone, i don't mind

If its a family event I don't really get a problem but if its something he really doesn't want to do I usually leave him home.

same here! his initial reaction is always 'no, dont want to', but then I make him go, mainly cause I need him to drive me lol, and he has a blast

twoty imo is not a social event. its a vendor event. fh has had is share of bridal showcases.
fh is very sociable. he loves meeting and talking to new people and hes a big hit at all the family functions i drag him to.

FH and I never see each other so when we do have the rare oppty to go out together to a event or whatever he def comes.
He very rarely gives me a hard time, and if he did I would just go on my own.
Since he works so much I do mostly everything alone, but I still have lots of fun!!!
He is so laid back and just goes with the flow...I'm very lucky b/c I am def not that way
