Spinoff to KellyGirl's question....Booking HM

When is everyone planning on booking their honeymoon. I was originally thinking around a year before or whenever we can with flights; however, with all the good Sandals deals now I'm getting anxious.

Any thoughts on your timing?

We are going to call our hotel at about the year mark. We have to wait to book flights until the summer, since that's probably when they'll come out.

If I were you, I'd wait to look at flights before you book HM. I think that the economy isn't going to get much better any time soon, and Sandals will still be having deals. Booking a vacation without a definite flight just makes me nervous!

we have no clue where we are going. Maybe booking around christmas of 09

i was advised by a TA to wait at least 9 months before... b/c deals for hotels dont come out till then.

we have just started looking into the HM, so once we figure out where we are going with our TA, then we will book

I don't think you can book hotels more than a yr in advance (I could totally be wrong though) and the prices/schedules for flights don't come out til 10 months before (per our TA).... We'll be booking this August for our June 2010 honeymoon.

Somewhere warm, all inclusive and affordable is where we are going....Probably will book it by the end of the summer

yup i was told the same thing...hotel deals come out about 9 months prior and airfare about 11 months prior. however i believe you can book cruises and sandal resorts sooner.
