Spinoff to long line bra!

Spinoff to long line bra!

Ok, so whats the biggie with the long line bras? Can I just wear a set of spanx and have cups sewn into my dress...will that have the same effect?

Which would be better? When I tried on my dress with the long line bra..I felt smothered and didn't like the way it pushed my boobs up propped up and on display.

help! What are you using and why!

I'm with you! I tried on my dress with a longline bra and it did not work at ALL! You could see where the bra ended at my hip and it shoved my boobs into my armpits. It could possibly be my fault- I did gain weight (especially in my chest) and I might've needed a different size/style but it did NOT work out. So at my 2nd fitting I wore just a plain strapless bra, no Spanx even, and it was perfect!

I think Im going this route too (but with spanx to **** in the fats lol). I thought I was the only one who didn't feel comfortable in a long line!

Honestly, if I could do it again, I wouldn't have gotten a long line bra. I would've just done a reg strapless or had cups sewn in. I say skip it.

Haha I had my spanx all ready to go but with the pre-wedding stress I pretty much starved the week leading up to the wedding so I was crazy skinny! I mean I haven't been that skinny since high school! It's all back now though.

Hmm -- well the only reason I hesitate on the cups is that a couple of girls on WeddingBee have complained that the sew-in cups show up in photographs!

That scared me!

I think it really depends on you and what size you are, the style of your dress and stuff like that.
when I tried on my dress I just had a strapless bra on... and honestly, my bra didn't really hold me up too well... I'm still looking to buy a long line bra, but I did find my size, but in black.. and when I tried it on I felt better...
besides that, my dress store said that my dress will clip onto the bra and that a long line will help my dress to stay up so I'm not constantly pulling it up... so I'm hoping that's true.

yeah i had my long line bra sewn into my dress so it helped to hold the shape of the dress.
