I'm growing my nails out and I'm getting my first manicure on natural nails (I had acrylics in highschool) in a few weeks. I've been letting them grow and I haven't been filing them at all. So they are not really shaped. Should I shape them myself before the manicure, or let them do that part?
ETA: I've only been growing them a week or so, so they are not all gross and long, lol. Otherwise I definitely would have filed them!

let the manicurist shape your nails, mine never end up even when i try to do it myself and then when i get a manicure then end up filing more than i would have liked to fix what i did.
