I think I would be upset, but only bc I'm getting corsages for them and I need to see their dresses in order to get something that will compliment them well.

My mother - absolutely. Not because I'm afraid that she'd pick out something horrible, but because I want to share in that experience with her.
My FMIL - not really, because I haven't seen her dress yet, but that's because she lives in Florida. She told me the color and tried to describe it.
If either one didn't want me knowing anything about what they were wearing, I'd be concerned because my mind would go overboard worrying about what the big secret was.

It depends. It I can trust her taste then I wouldn't be upset because she probably just wants to surprise you...BUT in the case of my FMIL, I need to make sure she isn't wearing something totally crazy so I would want to see it

Neither have even figured it out so I am not in the least bit bothered or curious...I'm too concerned with myself to be honest (hee)...for now they are just slated for white roses unless I hear otherwise...they are such procrastinators!!

No...unless they can't be trusted to dress themselves! For example, if FH's aunt was my FMIL, I would need to see what she was planning on wearing b/c she dresses like she works the streets everywhere she goes. Then I would be insistent on seeing first. Otherwise, I wouldn't care.

Yes...but then again my FMIL hasn't even gotten a dress! (But she still thinks there is no wedding!)
i would also want to see it to make sure, it was ok!

Yes...just like I want them to be a part of me picking my dress, I want to be a part of them picking their dresses.
