i called my insurance and the price did go up for my bc pill. I am basically not even covered anymore since there is a generic brand.
What bc pill are you on and do you like it? I might ask my dr to switch me to one that doesnt have a generic brand. I dont mind paying but its getting a ridiculous. Whats the point of insurance??
I know everyone reacts differently to certain pills but im just curious!

I am on Trivora, its a generic brand and I haven't had any problems with it. I believe it is the generic brand of Cyclesa. I was paying $35 a month for the brand name, now I pay $7!

i didnt like the generic brand. didnt react well to it... I guess ill have to suck it up and pay... or ask my dr to write a letter saying I cant take the generic version...

I take Ortho-Novum 777. I have never had a problem and I pay $10/month. The price is $35/month before the insurance pays.

i just called and had the dr switch me to the generic. SO MUCH CHEAPER!!! I'll try it again. was going through the whole separation when I switched so maybe it wasnt the pill.
also the pharmacist just informed me that its is now more $$ to order in a 3 month supply then month to month. my insurance company used to let me do this but now charges double.

mine jumped a few month ago. I was paying $15/3 months and it jumped to over $60 for three months

I take Yasmin. My insurance doesn't cover it at all, and it runs about $35 per month...
