Is anyone not wearing a traditional veil? Also, girls who wore your hair down - how did you place your veil??

I am wearing my hair down and the veil is basically just being put in with the hair comb on the back of my head. I am only wearing mine for the ceremony though so I am not sure if this is something that would stay if I wanted to wear it all day

I'm wearing a birdcage veil...I hate veils and a traditional one wouldn't go with my dress anyway.

I was completely against wearing a veil for the longest time. Just recently I decided to wear one. After endless hours of searching I found a simple veil that matched my dress and ordered it online site unseen. I got it last week and fell in love!! When I put it on I felt so bridal, and that was while wearing jeans and a tee-shirt! I say do what you want but try a veil and and see how you feel about it. You may be surprised...I know I was!
