my thank you cards should arrive any day now... so excited.
a little background: as many of you know, dh's sister (and her family) have not made it easy to be a new member of this family. her husband was supposed to play music at our wedding, he bailed six days before the wedding. they didn't give us a gift or even a card.
I DON'T WANT TO GIVE THESE PEOPLE A THANK YOU CARD.
what is a girl to do?
there is a part of me that wants to take the 'high road', yet AGAIN. but there is a VERY BIG part of me who has realized that there is no being nice to these people.

Re: SPINOFF to: non-gifter thank you cards
Just send a generic thank you card with no wedding photo, so you're being polite by sending a thank you, but don't have to spend the $$ sending them a photo thank you and can use those on friends/family who have helped support you in this marriage.

I would send a TY to be the bigger person, but I am not really in your situation and I don't know how much pain this family has caused you. But like I said, I think I would send it.

Re: SPINOFF to: non-gifter thank you cards
I know a lot of people say to send a thank you card but I am quite the spiteful person. There was only one guest who didn't give me a gift and I didn't send her anything. Those that didn't attend and gave me a gift, received a thank you card without a picture.
