If one set of parents (parents A) were paying for the wedding, and the photographer, and wanted a professional album from the photographer but didn't want to pay for the other side's (parent B) professional album, what would you do?
If one parent were paying for the photographer and was getting the album, then i would let the other parents know and give them the option/choice to pay for an album for themselves
leave it up to parent B to pay for their own album if they choose

ITA.. if they would like to purchase it on their own then fine
I would also explain to Parent B that they could purchase one from the photographer if they chose.
Some people are so generous. We are a new couple just starting out ... His parents couldnt have though we would buy them an album!!!
If they choose to let parents B have the choice of getting their own.
