Isn't it the usual practice that when you present a passport, no other I.D. is asked for? I haven't changed my passport to reflect my married name and I don't want a hassle when we go to Canada in a month. Anyone know?

Re: Spinoff to Passport/Caribbean Question
that is correct, you would not have to show any more ID. I didn't when I went to Jamaica on my HM.
however, your plane tickets would have to be in the same name as on your passport.

Wow, didn't think of that! Thanks! (Good thing we're driving. Yeah, I know we're nuts.)

It is customary that they do not ask you for another id once a passport is presented. However if your plane ticket is in your married name and your passport is in a different name they may ask you to present your marriage certificate so you should bring that with you.

Re: Spinoff to Passport/Caribbean Question
They asked us for both DL and the passport when we were at the airport in NY. After that we only had to show the passport.
