At what age would you consider making a flower girl a Jr. Bridesmaid?
same with a ring bearer?
This is my situation...
My dad's 2 cousins have 4 kids and the other has 5 kids (all grown) they EACH have about 3-5 kids of their own (ranging from 2-24) My dad has 2 god sons (both grown). Since i can't obv put every child in my bridal party i am putting the youngest child of his godsons in it.
The one girl will be 7 another girl will be... 7 also the boy will be... 4 i believe.
is 7 too old for a flower girl? should i make them Jr. Bridesmaids??
I haven't asked the parents yet lol. I will though, i just figure it's too soon.
I also figured i can give the rest of the kids some jobs such as handing out the programs in the beginning and others handing out the flower petals at the end. I feel bad not including them but there is no way i can include them all.

This is a good question...FH's daughter will be 7 at the time of our wedding and I felt that was too young to be a JBM.

i would say under 8 would be fg...i think between 8-13 is that awkard age bc they are too old to be fg but not quite old enough to be jbm - jmo

My JBM is going to be 10. My FG is going to be 8. I think 10 is the cut off for me. I was a FG when I was 9, I think, and it was fine.

I was a 10 year old flower girl and I honestly think that I and the other girl were to old for that role when I look back on it. I can remember every detail of the wedding and most flower girls can't because they were so young. That gives you a hint right there, lol.

7 is a good age for FG My niece will be 12 and I am making her a Jr BM, even though she asked me to be a FG

FH's daughter is 6 and is already almost 4' tall!!
If she keeps it up I'll end up having a flower girl that's taller than I am

One of my FG's will be 9 I believe, but I need her to be a FG b/c her sister is the other one and she will only be 5 and is super shy!!
