Spinoff to Shutterfly albums

I was wondering... is anyone making a shutterfly photo album in lieu of a wedding album made by your professional photographer?

My SIL got her professional pictures and decided to make her own album on shutterfly instead of paying for one through her photog. For me, I want the professional. Sure it costs a lot of money, but to me, pictures were something that meant a lot. I think shutterfly albums are awesome and convenient because so many other family members can make them whenever they want, with whatever pics they want, but I wouldn't want that for my only wedding album.

What about you guys??

thats what i did... i didnt want pro albums... regardless of who makes it the pictures are still there... its not as if the pictures are better if the photog makes the album...

i didnt see a point in wasting money on something that i didnt need to

I think if you are really creative you could make those online albums look pretty professional, but from a few posts on here- those are almost as costly as going to a professional. That being said, we got professional albums. I'll be making a TTD album through shutterfly.

Nope, I wanted the pro album too. But I did make shutterfly albums of all of our non-pro pics and HM pics

im not going to get a pro album... ill use snapfish or something when the time comes, and make my own! :)

I made myself a shutterfly album! I used the 12x12 size with the black leather cut out cover. I used my professional pics. It came out beautiful and cost about 7x less than a professional album. I am in lovvveee with it!
