Spinoff to Speech Question

Spinoff to Speech Question

We're having two best men and one MOH - should FH ask both of them if they want to make a speech? Not sure how this works. MOH would probably prefer not to, and that's fine.

Thanks for your opinions.

I would leave it up to them. If they both want to do it, fine. If one wants to nominate himself to speak on behalf of both of them, that's fine too. That's what I would do. Or, actually, I would make the funnier of the two give the speech.

I was thinking that too, there's one that's more comfortable with that stuff and funnier ........

I had the opposite, two MOH's and one Best Man. I asked both my MOH's if they wanted to make a speech and they did. DH asked his BM if he wanted to and he did. We left it up to all three of them.

I asked my sister (MOH) to make a speech and my DH asked his best friend (BM) to make a speech, they both agreed.

My FH has two BM as well. He didn't ask either to make a speech, but I know that they are both working on it. (one more seriously than the other)

I would leave it up to them. I'm sure they will all want to say a little something.

I would leave it up to them also. I went to a wedding last year where both best men did a speech together. They kind of went back and forth. It worked nicely because one was more serious and the other more funny. I think it helps take pressure off of them.
