So I've always been confused about this. Is your anniversary the first day you met, the first date, or when you first made it official (moving in, the s word, got engaged, etc.)
I always say the first day we met b/c that's what he says...but I would think our first date b/c we became exclusive then. I don't know.

Thats the good thing about a wedding date theres really no arguement!!!
We use our first date as our anniversary...we never discussed becomming exclusive...we werent seeing anyone else... i think it was just kinda assumed and we were together every day after our first date!

we always mention the day we met which was Jan 1st (sort of hard to forget new years day) but Jan 31st at my friends huge 30th bday in the city while at this rooftop bar is when he suddenly said I want this to be official. I want us to be Crystal & Rob. I want you to be my girlfriend and I want to be your boyfriend. or something amongst those lines because I was a bit drunk lol. I also still have the rose he got from someone on the street or something too lol
anyway so we count the 31st as our anniversary since we became official and fb status's changed lol.
it just sucks some months there is no 31st! I always joke you couldn't wait 1 more day for the 1st? lol. some months we have no date but we just go with the last day of the month. so yeah ours was very non confusing and hard to forget anything. I'm one of those girls who needs to hear things like that otherwise I never assume anything. if he never said anything I probably would have started dating someone else thinking well he's not serious. we still aren't officially engaged yet until I have my ring so that'll be another day to remember lol.

Ours is our first date since that's when we officially started dating. But I guess that will change when we get married?! Will we still celebrate our original anniversary???

FH and I dated about a month before making it 'official' and I actually love our anniversary story.
Right after we started dating FH got really sick, and I came over with soup and medicine, cold cuts and tea to take care of him. The very next weekend he flew out to his fathers house, and I didn't see him again until the following weekend.
That weekend he comes to my house and tells me what happened and said, 'Heather, I went to the doctor today, and I told him that I got sick and my gf took care of me, and I really liked how that sounded, so I really want to make this official... will you be my girlfriend...
Well all I heard was, 'Heather I went to the doctor today...' and I started freaking out thinking he had an STD or something, which is hilarious b/c we had never hooked up.... So even though he thinks its funny, he gets fake mad that he had tried to be really cute about asking me to be his gf and I totally took it the wrong way.
FH asked me to marry him on our 1 year anniversary and his opening line was, 1 year ago today I asked you to be my girlfriend, and today I'm asking you to be my wife....
